Video we show you every aspect of Dahlia growing on
video, from the storing of dahlia tubers over
winter, to starting the dahlia tubers into growth
in the spring. The dahlia tuber will produce
cuttings, you then start these dahlia cuttings into
growth with bottom heat. Once the dahlia cuttings
have rooted you can plant them up in 3" or 4" plant
pots to grow on into young dahlia plants, there is
a need to spray the young dahlia plants to protect
them against pest and disease. After about 4 or 5
weeks you will need to plant your dahlia plants
into 6" or 7" pots and keeping the dahlia plants in
a cold frame until you are ready to plant them in
the dahlia beds.
