John C.R. Fussinger joined the Institute of Videography in the early nineteen eighties. At that time it was the only recognised body for professional video producers. The Institute encouraged its members to achieve very high standards in video production. John successfully achieved the highest grade the Institute had to offer and he became a Fellow of the Institute of Videography in nineteen eighty eight.
